Incorporating the Evolving Science and Engineering Landscape into Curriculum

The presentation will discuss examples of efforts to restructure courses and laboratories to address the challenges of convergence and team science, which increasingly merge expertise across disciplines to solve research problems. It will consider some of the obstacles encountered in rethinking the undergraduate science curriculum, as well as strategies that have been successful in developing the skills students will need to be successful in their future careers.
