Race-Positive Science: Ethical and Social Implications of Genomics

This presentation examines the genomic field's attempts to redefine race for science and the public. Examining leading scientists' views and understandings of race, it shows the ways in which biomedical researchers identify with, value, and make sense of the taxonomies they construct so that they can produce a future that they themselves want to live in.
