Simulating and Visualizing the Electrophysiology of the Human Heart

Friday, 13 February 2015: 1:30 PM-4:30 PM
Room 230C (San Jose Convention Center)
Frederick Streitz, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Livermore, CA
The constant advances in supercomputing allow data simulation and visualization to be performed at higher and higher spatial and temporal resolution. Dr. Streitz will describe the use of cutting-edge computing approaches and applications to simulate the electrophysiology of a beating human heart.
