On the Front Lines in the Legal Battles Over Climate Change

In the late 1990s, I published a graphic that has come to be known as the “Hockey Stick”. This graphic depicts an estimate of temperature trends for the past millennium, highlighting the anomalous nature of modern-day global warming. I will discuss the various legal attacks that I have been subject to by industry front groups and politicians in their pay seeking to discredit this iconic graphic. I will share the lessons that I have learned from these experiences.
