The Hockey Stick and the Climate Wars: The Battle Continues

I found myself at the center of the larger debate over human-caused climate change due to an iconic graphic I published in the late 1990s--the “Hockey Stick” curve--which depicts temperature trends for the past millennium and highlights the unprecedented nature of modern-day global warming. I will discuss the science, politics, and ethical dimensions of global warming in the context of my own ongoing experiences as a figure in the center of the debate over human-caused climate change.
