Research on the Roles of Graduate Education in Improving Undergraduate Education

A 2012 report from the President's Council of Advisors for Science and Technology stressed the importance helping graduate students learn how to teach and communicate effectively as a means for improving their opportunities for employment and for improving undergraduate education in their roles as teaching assistants and instructors. A co-chair of the committee that authored the report will provide an overview of the recommendations and the evidence supporting those recommendations.
