Is the Earth in the Habitable Zone?

What are the appropriate limits to the stellar flux for a planet to be considered to in the HZ? How do clouds, atmospheric structure, and the stellar spectra affect the results? Results from both 1-D and 3-D models yield somewhat different results. The differences and their causes will be discussed.
