What Drives Tropical Regrowth? A Quantitative Assessment

The recent release of LANDSAT based measures of tropical regrowth provide an opportunity to assess the drivers of regrowth in a global scale analysis. Is the extent of regrowth in a country largely attributable to the scale of recent deforestation in a country? The analysis will begin with this hypothesis and extend beyond it.
