Future Accelerator Technologies

Saturday, 14 February 2015: 1:30 PM-4:30 PM
Room LL20A (San Jose Convention Center)
Wim Leemans,Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, CA
This talk will discuss R&D efforts to realize the next generation of lepton accelerator technologies using laser- and lepton-driven plasma wakefields and dielectric structures that could usher in a new era of highly compact short-pulse X-ray FELs and affordable TeV-scale linear lepton colliders for high energy physics research.
