Regency D (Hyatt Regency Chicago)
Chicago is applying analytics to "big data" across various City departments as an aid in decision-making and operational intervention. For example, we're looking at energy use to prioritize investments to reduce energy consumption across Chicago buildings. Chicago's initiatives in transparency and open data, combined with partnerships with companies and universities including the University of Chicago, present opportunities to collaborate with scientists to support city policies and investments.
