Change is accelerating, but the places we create are largely static and unresponsive. If the dynamism of the places we inhabit is to keep up with the pace of change outside our doors and inside our electronic devices, the design of places must accommodate and actively translate the drivers of change, from convergent technologies to energy to demographics. If we succeed, we will inhabit dynamic, evolving places that respond to the complexities of life.
