The 2013 data from the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer on the International Space Station confirms a mysterious rise in the fraction of cosmic ray positrons at high energies. With more data analyzed by 2014, AMS may detect a turnover in this energy spectrum, as predicted if the positron excess is from dark matter particles annihilating in our neighborhood of the galaxy.
