Scenario-Based Assessment of Climate Change Impacts on Agriculture

This talk will present results from the Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP), one of the first research projects to use the new climate change and societal development scenarios to investigate climate change impacts. Implications for the global and regional agricultural system and food prices are examined based on results from a wide variety of models. Conclusions that are robust across models are discussed, and reasons for disagreement are explored.
