Novel Risk Communication and Decision Tools for Children's Health Protection

Parents and physicians who take care of them and their children need scientifically-based, easily understood, and accessible information about environmental and chemicals risks to children’s health. The “Navigation Guide,” described in this talk, is being developed to evaluate the quality of scientific evidence in order to support evidence-based decision making by clinicians and parents, and to provide prevention-oriented guidelines for use in clinical and policy settings.
