Multidisciplinary Tracking Studies to Better Inform Fisheries Management

In the Canadian/US North Pacific, the Ocean Tracking Network is focused on Pacific salmon given their ecological, cultural and socioeconomic importance. Dr Cooke will describe how results from an integrated and interdisciplinary tracking program on Pacific salmon, involving extensive partnerships and combining tracking with genomics, physiology and environmental studies, are designed to meet the needs of stakeholders including the management community.
