Alison Allden , Higher Education Statistics Agency, Cheltenham, United Kingdom
The UK Higher Education Statistics Agency has collected data for 20 years, setting standards to achieve trusted and robust data. This approach has been emulated by the Snowball Metrics project. Alison has championed the re-use and sharing of data to stimulate and measure research performance. A collaborative approach to gathering metrics will be explored in this session in the context of the competitive global research environment, where achieving excellence in research and innovation is key.
