Oral health disparities among population cohorts have been well documented. Challenges of obtaining access to care contribute to oral health disparities. There does not appear to be an equitable distribution of the benefits of oral health and oral health care across communities and various segments of society. What actions have been taken to address these problems and ensure a more just distribution of these benefits? The background, supporting data, and related facets of these matters will be presented and discussed.
