Personality, Health and Longevity

Personality traits have emerged as unique predictors of health, well-being, and longevity, across various segments of the adult lifespan. New evidence also suggests an association between personality and cognitive outcomes as well. Why would personality be related to these myriad outcomes? The health behavior model is one possible explanation for this association, and this talk will discuss recent evidence.
