Scientists right here in Boston are at the forefront of efforts to help people who have lost function in one or more body parts -- a population that includes a growing number of senior citizens, as well as veterans, accident victims, and individuals with degenerative diseases. This symposium will discuss efforts to design the perfect prosthetic limb, to help restore lost senses, and to enable patients to move objects with their minds.
