Misconceptions about climate change remain widespread, are often deeply entrenched, and present major barriers to learning. We are using a combination of simulation role-playing games and media production to create transformational learning experiences to overcome these barriers. In contrast with traditional learning modes, these approaches empower learners to find out for themselves how complex systems behave through a combination of analytical, affective, and social learning.
