Star Trek’s Deanna Troi didn’t have a Ph.D. degree in STEM, but she was respected by the Enterprise crew because of her skills in communication and inquiry-based thinking. You, too, can benefit from these skills by inviting teachers to join your research crew. In this interactive workshop, Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellows will show you how partnering with K-20 teachers can enhance and broaden the impact of your research. Bring your research results, your data sets, or just yourself! Seasoned educators will take ideas from the floor and turn them into real-world research projects for teachers and students. Try your hand at inquiry-based activities developed through partnerships between STEM researchers and educators.
