Searching for and Securing Your Next Job: Using Technology Effectively

In this interactive workshop, attendees will explore various on-line tools that will assist them with locating potential employers, submitting the best resume, and preparing for both screening and on-site interviews. Employers are utilizing electronic tools to assist them with locating candidates. Job seekers need to know how to find jobs in this new paradigm. This workshop will demonstrate the use of search engines, social networks, and other tools that job seekers can use to locate potential employers. The most successful job seekers are those that are best prepared for both screening and on-site interviews. Topics include the pros and cons of Skype and other tools that can be used to polish interviewing skills.
