8194 Women of Color in Physics, Astrophysics, and Astronomy: An Analysis of Life Stories

Women of color are widely considered to be an untapped source of domestic talent that could help to fill the country’s scientific workforce needs. This research aims to add to the knowledge base about strategies for retaining women of color in science . Findings are based on detailed data based on interviews and written narratives of women of color at postsecondary and early-career levels in physics, astrophysics, and astronomy.
