Faunal Responses to Climate Change: Late Miocene to Middle Pleistocene

This presentation will review the current state of knowledge concerning the responses of non-hominin taxa to the major climatic events that occurred between the Late Miocene and Middle Pleistocene. Emphasis will be placed on Africa and Eurasia, since these were the only regions of the world occupied by the early hominins.
