I have been at the leading edge of global environment policy, including nuclear waste management, for more than a decade. I have a unique and open-minded perspective on how nuclear energy fits in with the world’s need to balance ever-increasing demand for electricity and the desire for safe, clean and sustainable sources of that energy. As the global population passes the 7billion mark, I will talk about how we must base energy policy on science, not on panic.
