Dr Piwowar is a leading expert on the consequences of data archiving on scientific productivity. Her talk will highlight quantitative estimates of costs and benefits for investigators and the community, including citation and collaboration benefits, the breadth of new scientific findings facilitated by data reuse, and the extent of anticipated and experienced challenges with data misinterpretation and poor attribution practices.
