Universities, research institutes, and science centers create authoritative multimedia content for online science education. However, in a crowded cyberspace it is becoming increasingly difficult for new websites to establish an audience and for established sites to increase viewership.
Attracting large-scale audiences vitally depends on making online resources visible to the search engines that mediate the majority of Internet traffic. This seminar offers practical advice to increase website visitation, based upon successful design and search engine optimization (SEO) strategies we have used over the past several years.
