NSEP is a Federal program designed to build a broader and more qualified pool of U.S. citizens with foreign language and international skills. In partnership with the U.S. education community, it serves the needs of U.S. national security and competitiveness. Slater will discuss the needs of the United States government, how those needs have or have not been met, and the strategy for combining the best science with policy.
