Expectations about reporting individual results to study participants are changing rapidly, with significant implications for researcher training and resource allocation and institutional review board oversight. This presentation will review experiences across the NIEHS research portfolio and discuss challenging examples, such as report-back for unexpectedly high levels of perfluorinated compounds in young girls in one community.
