This speaker will examine how well the mainstream media in the U.S. and abroad cover clean energy technologies that may reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, looking at how they are reported by science, environment, business, and political journalists as well as the impact of opinion blogging. The presentation will look broadly at energy sources ranging from solar and wind to biofuels and nuclear power and lessons learned from media coverage of them.
