Special Focus Meeting of Graduate STEM Fellows in K-12 Education

AAAS and the Graduate STEM Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education (GK-12) Program at the National Science Foundation are sponsoring a special meeting for funded projects and interested members of the STEM community on Thursday, 18 February, at the San Diego Convention Center. GK-12 projects will present information on topics related to the core goals of the program including: developing effective partnerships with K-12 teachers, students, and schools; communicating science to the public; and integrating STEM research into the K-12 classroom. The special meeting will culminate in a poster session on Friday afternoon that highlights the work of the GK-12 projects and offers information about the GK-12 program to interested Annual Meeting participants.
