Come learn more about opportunities for scientists and engineers in federal policy-making. Plug the power of science into public policy by becoming an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow. Since 1973, nearly 2,000 scientists and engineers have contributed their analytical skills to policy-making in Washington, D.C., while learning about the role of science in the federal government system. Career-enhancing opportunities are available in about 30 congressional offices and 12 federal agencies. A master's degree in engineering plus 3 years of post-degree experience or a terminal degree in any scientific discipline is required.
