The “Wicked Problem” of Climate Change: What Is It Doing to Us and for Us?
Thursday, February 16, 2017: 8:30 AM-11:30 AM
Independence Ballroom East (Sheraton Boston Hotel)
Leaders from the Institute for Religion in an Age of Science, the International Society for Science and Religion, the Parliament of World Religions, and the new Ecological Civilization movement host an informal conversation about the “wicked problem” of climate change as a complex, multi-generational, ecological, ethical, economic, scientific, political, and religious issue. A panel representing different perspectives will facilitate discussion on how climate change will reshape the way we live and think about ourselves and our societies. All meeting attendees, particularly graduate students, are welcome to attend and participate in the discussion.
