After years of research, analysis, and writing on often very specific topics, many science PhDs wonder if their skills are useful outside of academia. This workshop will delve into the abundant opportunities for science PhDs outside the ivory tower that take advantage of advanced degrees. From working as a principal data scientist for a health care company to promoting international chemical security, from furthering science policy to protecting American science education, PhDs have a lot of opportunities to utilize their degrees to create change.
