Doug Nychka , National Center for Atmospheric Research, Boulder, CO
This talk discusses statistical experimental design and analysis to explore the effect of parameters or other factors upon which climate models depend, incorporating the complex dependences which exist, including interactions. The statistical procedures are used to develop tools for quantifying uncertainty and for assessments.
