The development of the Cloud and of online social interaction have enabled research to be carried out and communicated online by geographically disparate team members, expanded the impact of research, and allowed more efficient discovery of information and expertise. This presentation will report on global collaboration via the Mendeley research platform and present evidence for the emergence of a new mode of massively collaborative research.
