Experimenting with Public Health and Education in the Developing World

This talk will review some lessons from randomized evaluations on health and education in the developing world, focusing on how randomized evaluations can inform policy. It will outline how USAID's Development Innovation Ventures program offers an opportunity to rigorously test innovative ideas that could cost-effectively and scalably address development challenges.
